My name is Marci. I’m a former teacher and an EFM. I feel strongly that kids in the foreign service need to learn about the history of the United States. I turned to my friend Emily who is an expert in curriculum development. Together we have built a program custom made for kids like ours. Like you, I understand both the highs and lows of a life in the foreign service. We have been posted in Ciudad Juarez and Quito and are currently in Warsaw. Before our family joined the State Department, I was a teacher in my hometown of Ogden, Utah.
Emily has has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University and years of classroom teaching experience. She has worked as a reading coach and curriculum director. She taught for many years in Fairfax County in Virginia. Now she is raising her 3 kids while running her own online curriculum business out of her home in Utah.
